Chad Burrell- Genola Utah
6 dog participant; Chad is the father of 4 kids Sidney, Lance, Logan, and Spencer, wife Marcy. His kennel has 11 dogs with leaders Xalapa and Elim. He has Alaskan Husky's and Siberian Seppala's in his kennel. Chad works full time for Orem City's Water Reclamation facility. Chads kids will be running als in this years race.

Emily Wade - Labarge Wy.
6 dog participant; Emily list occupation as student and wrangler, she operates Powederhounds Kennel in LaBorge Wy that has 11 dogs. She has been mushing 5 or so years and currently runs Alaskan Huskies with Leaders Kork and Ace. She got started by a 3rd grade field trip to the Stage stop Race. Lately she has raced in West Yellowstone, Dubois, Casper, Laramie, Pinedale and Ashton.

2 dog participant; Lance is in the 1st grad and is not married. He has been mushing 3 years and practices in their field. His lead dog's name is Wacko, and has races in the Aston Mutt Race.

Sidney Burrell - Genola Utah
2 dog participant; Sidney is in the 4th grade and not married. Sidney has been mushing for 3 years and has a lead dog named Lilli. Sidney has also raced in the Aston Mutt Race.

Killick Mickelson - Manti Utah
2 dog particpant; Killick list occupation as student and helps run kennel name MicWic. Killick has been mushing for 2 years and is running Bam Bam and Stanly in this years race. Killick is a wrestler and plays football at his school.

Ryan Mickelson - Manti Utah
6 dog participant; Ryan lists occupation as corrections officer and is married to Jennie with kids Sierra, Millick and Tawlee. Ryan has been mushing for 10 years and runs MicWic Kennel with his family. They currently have 16 dogs in their kennel. He will be running Lizzy and Rev as leaders in this years race his dogs consist of Alaskan Husky's. He recently raced in Ashton

Julia Larsen Hailey Idaho
4 dog participant; Julia list her occuaptionas student and helps her father Troy run 5 Degrees kennel. She has been mushing 2 years and is running Susie and Tempest as her leaders. She runs Alaskan Husky's and recently raced in Pinedale and took 3rd placeand that was the most exciting race she has entered. Her puppy now 1 year old is names "Snoopy Moose". Julie got started racing from her dad.

Curtis Larsen- Hailey Idaho
2 dog participant; Curtis list occupation as student helps his dad Tony with running kennel 5 degrees, and is running leader Typhoon. Curtis is a green belt in Tae Kwon Do, and started the sport skijoring with his dad. His funny stories is, Dad had me on a a tag sled one time and said hike to the dogs and they took off so fast that "I flipped off the back of my sled". This is Curtis first race.

Mindy Reymann - Idaho Falls, Idaho
4 dog participant; Mindy list occupation as retail manager and is married to Matt. Kids names are 3 malamutes, Budrow, Kuna and Gracie. She is running Dave Harmon dogs from Black and Blue Kennel with leaders Velvet and Whiskey and has been mushing 1 year. They have raced lately in Dubois and Skijoiring at Ashton. To Mindy every race is the most exciting ever.

Matt Reymann - Idaho Falls Idaho
6 dog particpant; Matt list occuation as carpenter and is married to Mindy. Lists kids as 3 malamutes Budrow, Kuna and Gracie. Matt is running dogs from Dave Harmon's kennel Black and Blue consisting of Hounds and Alaskan Huskies with leaders Amber and Mescal. Matt took 1st place in Dubois Skijoiring and got started one year ago by watching races.

8 dog particpant; Sue lists her occupation as geologist and is married to John. She runs Spirit Moon Kennels and has been mushing for 10 years. She has Alaskan Husky's with leaders Brooks, Shasta, Falcon, Pebbles and Brant. Sue finished Idiatarod in 2008.

Rick St.Onge - Millville Utah -
8 dog participant; Rick is owner and operator of Galloping Husky Ranch, list of occupation is Surgeon. He has been running dogs for 25 years and will be running with leaders Shadow and Gerry, on his Alaskan Husky team. They have recently been in the W. Yellowstone race, Pindale, Colorado and Ashton. Rick has two adult kids Andy and Joe.

Kate St.Onge - Millville Utah
8 dog participant; Kate is owner and operator of Galloping Husky Ranch, list occuaption as Ranch Hand. Kate has been mushing dogs for 25 years and will be running Cruiser and Roxy as leaders on her Alaskan Husky team. She has recently raced in W. Yellowstone, Pinedale, Colorado and Ashton. One title she has won was the "vets choice" in the San Juan Stage race in Colorado.

T.J. Shrader - Bailey, Co.
8 dog participant; T.J. list occupation of vet tech. and is not married. He runs Cold Canyon Racing Seppala's and has been mushing for 8 years. He currently has 20 dogs and will be running Billie and Blaze the "Canadian Duo" as his leaders. Lindsey Owen - Bailey Co.
4 dog participant; Lindsey lists occupation as student and pooper scooper and helps run Cold Canyon Racing Seppala's. She has been mushing 2 years and will be running Dusty and Speedy as her lead dogs. She has raced lately in Casper Canines for Charity, Buena Vista Dryland, and got started by rescuing a Siberian Husky and it grew from there. She got her first Siberian @17 and started volunteering for Lost Paws and then Arctic Breed Rescue. She adopted a cab warmer Markie from the Breinholts and started skiijoiring with fosters dogs. She was hooked from a ride on a sled from the Breinholts and has spent the last year running dogs with T.J. She is origianally from Orem but really enjoyes living in Colorado the last year.

Maren Gibson - Provo, Ut.
4 dog participant; Maren has been mushing for a short time and has 6 Seppala's in her kennel. She will be running Sora, and Ridge as her leaders and is married to Racer. She has recently raced in Park City, and Colorado and got started by recuing dogs from animal shelters. She has received the red lantern award, and once entered a bikejoring race with an alaskan malamute.

Steve Ortgiesen - Riverdale Ut.
4 dog participant; Steve lists occupation as nurse anesthetist and is married to Janet with kids Andy, Jared, Jaimee, and Lindsay. He has been musing one year and runs Siberian Huskies of the North Kennel. He has 4 dogs and will be running Kiinai as his leader. This is Steve's first race.

Betty Carlson - Sandy Ut.
4 dog participant; Bettly lists occupation as interpreter for the deaf and is a single mom with kids Amy, Christy, Jennifer, James and Michael. She runs Timberline Kennel w/ 6 dogs and has been mushing for 9 years. She has Siberian Husky's, Seppala's and Alaskan Husky's and has recently raced in Park City, where she took 1st place in 6 dogs sprint race. She got started when her son did a school report on the Iditarod and she "wanted to do it". She has run recreationally until this year and is born and raised in Utah.

John Miller - Idaho Falls, Id.
4 dog participant; John list occupation as student and has been mushing 1 year. He is driving a team of Alaskan Husky's owned by Barry Heath with leader Voodoo. He has raced lately in American Dog Derby in Ashton. He got his start by always lving dogs and Many think he is "crazy or think it is an easy sport" but his family supports him and loves to come watch him in his races.

Bryce Mumford - Preston, Id.
8 dog participant; Bryce lists occupation as mailman and is married to Lindsay with kids Anna and Conner. Bryce is running a team from Sue Morgan's kennel and has just started getting into the sport. He has been out with Sue a few times and this will be his first race.

Barry Heath - Pingree, Id.
6 dog participant; Barry runs Hammer Down Racing kennel and has been mushing 15 years. He is married to Kristen with little kid Arwen. He will be running Brodie and YoYo as his leaders. He has recently been racing in Ashton, Dubois, Pinedale and West Yellowstone. He took 1st place in the 09 American Dog Derby and 1st place in the 09 Dubois race. He got is start from a boarder collie named Guss.
