2008 Schedule of Events

Arrival times are estimated and are dependent upon weather and trail conditions, they can leave at 9:00 a.m. and get back as early as 11:00 a.m. or as late as 3:00 p.m. it is the K9 Challenge.

Dutch oven food vendor will be on hand in the parkng lot, Cafe Ibis coffee and Hot Coc. available for donations.  Raffle tickets being exchanged for cool k9 stickers and for raffle ticket for your chances to WIN a  Nordic Track Elliptical!!!

17:30 - 18:00 hrs. mushers arrive – late registrations accepted Motel 6

18:00 hrs.  Mushers Meeting - Location Motel 6 conference room; Pizza and drinks available

18:30 hrs. late registration closes -Motel 6

18:30 hrs. vet check - parking lot Motel 6  - head lamps required

18:45 hrs. quick check volunteer meeting

Friday Morning January 18, 2008 – Sink's Parking Lot Trailhead

08:00 hrs. Musher parking opens

08:45 hrs. Opening, welcome, and public gathers at starting line

09:00  hrs. Official Race Start (start time could change due to weather)

Saturday January 19, 2008 – Middle Sinks Parking Lot Trailhead

08:00 hrs. Musher parking opens

08:45 hrs .Opening, welcome, and public gathers at starting line

09:00 hrs. Official Race Start (Quickest time on Friday will be first to start)

010:00 hrs. Skijoiring Demonstration

17:00 hrs.  Mandatory Awards Ceremony & Chicken Potatoes Banquet - Raffle pull for the Nordic track elliptical

Mushers if you have more that one handler with you please advise for banquet meal preperations, thank you.

Tickets to the banquet are available to the public for $10.00.  Please call to reserve your spot by monday Jan. 14 if you are interested in the banquet ticket.  Mushers/handlers/key voluteers eat for free. (donation jar will be available for any help with club funds)
